Job Description

Our client, a well-established business in Kelowna, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Administrator to join their team on a full-time basis. This role offers a structured work schedule and competitive pay, with the potential to transition into a permanent position based on performance. For the right candidate, this position will evolve into an annual salary of $60,000 or more, depending on skills and experience.

About the Role

As an Administrator, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at supporting the daily operations of the office. If you have strong organizational skills and some knowledge of bookkeeping, this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform word processing and document preparation tasks.
  • Handle filing and maintain organized records for the office.
  • Assist with reception duties, including answering phones and greeting visitors.
  • Provide support with various administrative and organizational tasks as needed.
  • Basic bookkeeping tasks using Sage (an asset but not required).

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Proficiency in word processing and general computer skills.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and familiarity with Sage is an asset but not essential.
