Okanagan Staffing is currently seeking a Warehouse Supervisor on behalf of a reputable logistics management company. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader with strong organizational skills to oversee daily warehouse operations while ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise warehouse staff in a professional, positive, and productive work environment.
- Manage deliveries, verify product shipments, and oversee warehouse inspections.
- Maintain compliance with workplace safety regulations and operational standards.
- Oversee bills of lading for shipments and inspect docks and equipment for necessary maintenance.
- Manage fuel logs, generate purchase orders, and approve invoices.
- Coordinate with other warehouses within the corporation to streamline operations.
- Deliver excellent customer service and uphold warehouse cleanliness standards.
- Participate in regular meetings with head office and proactively address operational challenges.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Post-secondary education in logistics (an asset but not required).
- Valid Class 3 Driver’s License and certification in Forklift, Reach Truck, and Power Jack.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel (Intermediate level required).
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Outgoing and team-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
