Job Description

Okanagan Staffing is seeking a Red Seal Mechanic. Earn Top Wages, Bonus incentives and possible 4-Day work week. If you are a Red Seal or Heavy-duty automotive Tech seeking a great company with long term stability this may be the position for you.

Primary job tasks:

  • Full vehicle inspections and diagnostics
  • Mechanical & electrical repairs (engines, brakes, drivetrains, etc.)
  • Safe use of hoists, air tools, scanners, and more
  • Follow safety protocols and mentor apprentices
  • Stay current with new tech like EVs and hybrids
  • Supervising apprentices or junior technicians
  • Use diagnostic tools and onboard computers.

Maintenance Services:

  • Perform oil changes, fluid flushes, filter replacements, and scheduled service intervals.
  • Rotate and balance tires, inspect and adjust alignments.

Testing and Quality Control:

Test repaired vehicles to ensure performance standards are met and perform road tests.

Qualifications:

Valid Red Seal certification in (Heavy Duty or Automotive) 3 – 5 years experience
Strong diagnostic skills and pride in your work with diligence
